Today's Word: Viand

Viand: noun(Vi-uhnd) vi is like "why" but with a V, and uhnd is just like it sounds, uh-nd.

1.An article of food, usually of a choice or delicate kind.

Example: If the viand is too hot or too cold, or is not what the visitor likes, he pretends to eat it, playing with knife and fork.

Example 2:  Then, have a fresh charbroiled fish ready as viand.

  1. Haha nice. Look what happens to words when they move to the English language! J'aime manger un peau de la viande.
